Queen Alia Airport - Amman
Meet and assist at Queen Alia Airport, Amman. Transfer to your Amman hotel for overnight
Amman - Um al Jimal - Desert Castle - Amman
Visit Um al Jimal, a haunting caravan outpost with impressive architectural features such as its iconic archways and the remains of some 14 Byzantine churches. Drive on to visit the Roman fortress of Azraq was later re-used as a winter headquarters by T. E. Lawrence during the Arab Revolt of the early 20th Century. Stop for lunch at the RSCN's Azraq Lodge, a restored British Army hospital now used to welcome visitors to the Azraq Wetlands Reserve managed by the RSCN (Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature - a vital reclamation project which has begun to attract hundreds of migratory bird species back to their ancient migratory routes between Africa and Asia or Europe). After lunch visit two of Jordan's famed "Desert Castles". These structures scattered throughout Jordan were in fact Omayyad hunting lodges built during the 8th Century: Qasr Amra, one of Jordan's World Heritage Sites, has a frescoed vault roof and bathhouse and Qasr Kharanah, a more formidable structure, displays the "hidden within the walls" structural style well suited to the heart of the desert. Return to Amman for overnight. [B.L]
Amman - Um Qais - Jerash - Amman
Head north to visit the dramatic Um Qais (Biblical Gadara), one of Jordan's Greco-Roman Decapolis cities with a stunning view over the Golan Heights and Sea of Galilee. Continue driving to Jerash and tour of the world's best-preserved Roman provincial city. Return to Amman for overnight. [B]
Amman - Mt. Nebo - Um ar-Risas - Petra
Morning city tour of Amman including Citadel, Archaeological Museum and Souq. Drive on to Mt. Nebo, the site from which is it believed that Moses saw the Promised Land, enjoy the spectacular view over the Jordan River Valley, Dead Sea, Jericho and the hills of Judea, as well as the fine collection of Byzantine mosaics restored from the series of churches which have occupied this venerated spot. Drive on to Um ar-Risas for a visit to the Stylite Tower and fine mosaic floor or the St. Stephen Church at Jordan’s newest World Heritage site. Continue driving to your hotel in Petra. In the evening, join the fun at the Petra Kitchen as you learn to cook a traditional local meal. Overnight Petra. [B.D]

Full day touring in Petra, including visits to the Treasury, Theater, Colonnaded Street and ad-Deir, Petra's largest carved facade. In the evening join the candlelight stroll through Petra’s Siq with the “Petra by Night” program for a romantic introduction to the legendary Nabatean Capital city. Overnight Petra. [B]
Petra - Wadi Rum
Morning return to Petra by the "secret road" route. Visit the High Place of Sacrifice. In the afternoon, drive to Wadi Rum for a jeep tour of the moonscape terrain. Arriving to our remote private campsite in the heart of the desert. With no lights, no noise and no pollution, this is the ideal spot to enjoy the meteor shower, with an average of one shooting star every 60 seconds. That's a lot of wishes! We'll have an astronomical expert from Jordan's Royal Astronomical Society on hand to answer questions and de-code the map of the heavens. Dinner and overnight camping in Wadi Rum. [B.D]
Wadi Rum - Wadi Al Mujib - Dead Sea
Breakfast at campsite. Spend the morning experiencing desert life on a camel safari through the land T. E. Lawrence rightly described as "vast, echoing and God-like." Drive to Mujib Nature Reserve for two hours hike, you will do the Siq trail, this trail starts at the Visitors' Center of Mujib. Continue driving to Dead Sea for overnight. [B}

Day to relax and enjoy the resort's pool and beach facilities, or try a pampering treatment in the Spa. Overnight Dead Sea. [B]
