Monday—Meet/assist at Amman’s Queen Alia airport. Join your tour group for visits to Mt. Nebo, Um ar-Risas and Shobak Castle. Continue to Petra for the candlelight “Petra by Night” walk, with overnight in Petra.
Tuesday-- Full day touring in Petra, including horseback entry, visits to the Treasury, Theater, Colonnaded Street and ad-Deir, Petra's largest carved facade. In the evening, join the fun at the Petra Kitchen as you learn to cook a traditional local meal. Overnight Petra. [BD]
Wednesday--Morning return to Petra by the "secret road" route. Visit the High Place of Sacrifice, Wadi Farasa and the Royal Tombs. In the afternoon, drive to Wadi Rum for a jeep tour of the moonscape terrain. Dinner and overnight camping in the heart of the desert. [BD]
Thursday—Breakfast at campsite. Transfer to the Dead Sea for leisure time, day use facilities and lunch at the lowest point on the Earth’s surface. Return to Amman for departure. [BL] Or customize your program by adding on one or more of the "Sensation Amplification" extensions available!

"Sensation Amplification" options

Red Sea Amplifier-- Begin or end your tour with three nights at leisure in the Red Sea resort of Aqaba. Snorkeling or diving along the coral reefs, a glass-bottom boat or “semi-submarine” cruise in the Aqaba harbor or just relaxing on the beach…a splendid way to round out your holiday.
Dead Sea Amplifier--Indulge your senses with three nights at a 5* resort hotel on the Dead Sea. You can add this option either before or after the Jordan on the Fly program.
Damascus Amplifier—As preface or epilogue to your Jordan on the Fly program, spend three nights (Friday-Sunday) in Damascus, arguably the world's oldest city and unquestionably one of the most fascinating. Depart from Jordan to Damascus on Friday afternoon for a tour which includes a full-day guided tour of Damascus including the Omayyad Mosque, National Museum, Straight Street, Ananias Church, the Azem Palace and the Hammadieh Souk. You'll also try an authentic Turkish Bath, and may choose to sign up for an excursion to Palmyra or Krak des Chevaliers. On Sunday, you'll visit the ancient city of Bosra before returning to Jordan (an additional night’s pre-tour accommodation can be arranged), or we can arrange for an extra night in Damascus before you continue to Jordan to begin your tour on Monday.
Jerusalem Amplifier—After your Jordan on the Fly program, spend a few extra nights in the Hashemite Kingdom and then cross the King Hussein/Allenby Bridge to Jerusalem early Saturday for three nights just outside the walls of the Old City. You'll have a free day (Saturday) to explore the narrow cobbled streets on your own, and then you'll join your guide on Sunday to visit Bethlehem and Jerusalem. Mondays your tour will include Nazareth, Capernaum, the Mount of the Beatitudes and the Sea of Galilee. Tuesday morning, return to Jordan to make your departure connection (mid-day departure or later) or to continue your visit to Jordan.
